1 500 schoolchildren have visited the world of technology for free
Thanks to our newly established cooperation with Dolní Vítkovice (DOV), 1,500 schoolchildren have already visited the popular science center Svět techniky in DOV for free. A further roughly five hundred of them will arrive by the end of this year.
As part of our financial support, we provided free admissions for a total of 27 schools from all corners of the Moravian-Silesian Region. One of them was the Zizkova Elementary School in Krnov. “More than 80 pupils of our school had the opportunity to learn more about the technical achievements of our time, experiments, modeling and demonstrations in the natural sciences. Many of them are already clearer about how pig iron is produced, what a transformer is or how a television camera works. We also liked the CRASH exhibition and of course the BBC 3D movie about life in the oceans and seas. Popularization of technical subjects is certainly a worthwhile act. We will look forward to the fact that this type of event was not the last one, ”says Michal Brunclík, teacher of technical subjects.
“We are pleased that our financial support has not only helped children look into the CVT and learn new information, but also have an extraordinary experience that they enjoyed. Positive feedback only confirms that support in this direction is right and meaningful. In the future, we would like to come up with other similar concepts with our partners, thanks to which children will try the thing real, because we believe they will remember everything better, ”says Petr Leder, director of Outlet Arena Moravia.
The World of Technology interactive science center welcomes schoolchildren in both parts. In the high-tech building of the Great World of Technology with the Theater of Science and 3D cinema. And also in the former VI. The small world of the U6 technology, which attracts the attention of the exposition of amazing technical inventions from the steam engine to the space modules.
